I am a doctoral student at the Department of Climate Change, IIT Hyderabad, India dedicated to exploring the complexities of climate systems. My research focuses on developing advanced frameworks to identify Extreme Precipitation Events (EPEs) across the Indian subcontinent. As a DAAD fellow at PIK in 2024/2025, I am working on developing advanced frameworks to identify Extreme Precipitation Events (EPEs) for the Indian subcontinent. My focus is on understanding their physical mechanisms, regional dynamics, and applying semi-supervised deep-learning models to provide insights for climate understanding and risk assessment.
