Oleksandra Khala studied at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, she holds a Master's degree in Meteorology. Before joining PIK she was working for several years as a meteorologist and communications specialist in Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center in Kyiv. Recently she joined Research Department 2 and now is involved in CWEH Uzbekistan Project, the aim of what is a comprehensive assessment of the impact of climate change on water resources, renewable energy potential and population health in Uzbekistan.
