Dr. Matheus Palmero

I completed my PhD in Physics at the University of São Paulo in 2023, and my research focuses on chaos and dynamical systems. Over the years, I have worked on topics such as Hamiltonian systems, nonlinear dynamics, statistical and transport properties, discrete maps, billiards, transient dynamics, and escaping trajectories. I am currently dedicated to applying recurrence analysis to general dynamical systems, with particular emphasis on applications in climate science, ecology and neuroscience. I am also broadly interested in complex networks, random dynamical systems, ergodic theory, quantum chaos, and plasma physics.
