Lisa is a Medical Doctor with a specialisation in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and Nutritional Medicine. She is also a Research Associate at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Institute of Public Health.
Lisa has more than 9 years of clinical experience and in addition has worked in different environmental and climate projects for over a decade. She has a deep interest in Planetary Health and Climate Justice, with a focus on food system transformations as a key component to achieve a just, healthy and livable future for everyone. Her research interests are in healthy and sustainable diets and healthcare foodservice. At PIK, she works on the NURISHD-project on the implementation of healthy and sustainable diets in healthcare institutions.
