Jonathan Krönke is a Doctoral Researcher in the Earth Resilience Science Unit at PIK and the Center for Critical Computational Studies at the Goethe University Frankfurt. He is supervised by Nico Wunderling and Johan Rockström. His current research focuses on tipping points and computational methods to emulate tipping points in space and time under global change.

Jonathan Krönke studied Physics in Greifswald and Potsdam and finished his master thesis on modeling of tipping elements on complex networks in 2019. He worked as a software developer from 2020 until 2024.
