Dr Kasra Rafiezadeh Shahi

Kasra is a postdoctoral researcher in the Advancing Planetary Boundary Science (PBScience) group at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). His research interests include machine/deep learning for image and signal processing, multi-sensor data fusion and remote sensing. Hence, he mainly contributes to one of the pillars of the planetary health check, Earth monitoring, by using state-of-the-art Earth observation systems and advanced AI-based solutions.
