I am an environmental scientist (focus hydrology) who enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams and has a particular interest in cross-sectoral climate change impacts and their effects on societies. For my research I use (process-based) models, field observations and remote sensing images. I am part of the ISIMIP cross-sectoral science team and the sectoral coordinator of the permafrost sector. Before joining PIK in March 2018, I gained research experience at the Indo-German Centre for Sustainability (IIT Madras, India), at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (USA) and at the International Centre for Water Hazard (Tsukuba, Japan).
