Fritz Kühlein is a scientist at the Earth Resilience Science Unit (ERSU) working on the maintenance and development of Pyunicorn, an open-source tool for complex systems analysis, as well as the application of Pyunicorn for the detection of nonlinear regime shifts in complex timeseries in the context of the Tipping Point Model Intercomparison Project (TIPMIP). He is also interested in the modeling of social-ecological systems and currently exploring approaches to further develop the MayaSim model.
