Quitterie  joined the RD2's Land use and Resilience group as a Research Analyst for the Food System Economics Commission (FSEC). She has since joined the Sustainable Food Systems Research Training Group  as a doctoral researcher at the University of Göttingen. 

Her research focuses on how policies and incentives impact agricultural producers in the Sahel region in Sub-Saharan Africa. The main objective focuses on adaptive capacity of vulnerable smallholder farmers in high climate impact regions and impact assessments of interventions that incentivise sustainable practices increasing economic and climate resilience.

Quitterie earned a Master of Science in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Copenhagen. Her research focused on modeling the adoption of energy crops in Denmark, exploring bio-energy needs through a land-use and economic lens.
