Clara Bachorz is a Doctoral Researcher in the Energy Systems group at PIK since November 2022. She works as part of the National Energy transition subgroup, under the supervision of Dr. Falko Ueckerdt. Her research focuses on assessing the contribution hydrogen could have towards helping the EU achieve its net-zero emission targets, and what a future global hydrogen economy would look like.
Clara Bachorz is a physicist by training, and holds an MPhil degree in Physics from the University of Cambridge, as well as a Masters degree in Physics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich. In her Masters thesis she worked on studying topological theories using ultracold atoms.
