My PhD project integrates the causal inference framework in economics with recent advancements in Chemical Transportation Models from atmospheric science. This integration aims to analyze the causal relationships between air pollution and public health, with a focus on identifying the health and economic costs and exploring the distributional heterogeneity of these impacts.
