Sarah Bereswill is a researcher in Research Department 1 on Earth System Analysis at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. She works in the project B-EPICC (Brazil East Africa Peru India Climate Capacities) and studies succession pathways of secondary forests on abandoned land, focusing on the recovery of forest biomass and biodiversity using the LPJmL-FIT (Flexible Individual Traits) model.
