Dr. Rahel Laudien

Postdoctoral Researcher
Laudien

Rahel Laudien is a crop modeller at PIK focusing on climate risk management in agriculture in the tropics. In her research, she uses statistical crop models and machine learning approaches for seasonal crop yield forecasting to support early warning systems on food insecurity in Sub-Saharan Africa. Before joining PIK, she worked for a consultancy in the field of climate adaptation services in the Netherlands.
