Anton (he/him) is a doctoral researcher within the Climate and Energy Policies (CAEP) group, led by Dr. Michael Pahle. He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Maastricht University.

Before commencing his doctoral studies, Anton worked as an Analyst at Frontier Economics in Berlin. During his studies, Anton worked as a Research Assistant at the Fraser of Allander Institute. His practical experience includes internships at the ifo Institute and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). He also spent some time as a volunteer worker in Nepal.

His research focuses on examining the determinants of public support for ambitious climate policies, such as carbon pricing. In his work, he employs a methodological approach rooted in economic theory and causal inference. His research aim is to identify key factors influencing public opinion and policy acceptance, offering insights into the development and implementation of effective climate policies.
