Dr Iulii Didovets is a PostDoc researcher at the Climate Resilience department and a Project Lead of the Green Vision Central Asia and CWEH Uzbekistan projects at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. His area of interest and professional experience covers hydrological modelling, extremes, climate change and GIS.  Iulii develops his knowledge working in projects on Europe, Africa and Central Asia, where he also expands his expertise in capacity building, teaching and assessment of the climate impacts.
Iulii holds a Master degree in Geoecology and PhD in Geography. As a PhD student got a scholarship from the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) within Bi-nationally Supervised Doctoral Degrees program, and was involved as a researcher at the NatRisk Change Research Program at the Potsdam University for flood risks assessment in the mountain regions.
