David Bantje joined PIK as a PhD student in September 2022. He is working on the integration of environmental impacts into energy system modelling in Prof Gunnar Luderer's group.
Before starting at PIK, he studied physics at the University of Göttingen. For his master's thesis in the Physics of Social Systems group, he conducted research on the influence of street networks on sustainable mobility systems such as ride pooling.
