As a geoecologist, I am interested in natural environmental systems and human impact on those. Within the Land use group I am involved in modeling grassland ecosystems using LPJmL. I currently work on the effect of functional diversity on forage supply, soil carbon, and biogeochemical cycles of managed grasslands. My general research interests are ecosystem functioning, animal-plant interactions in pastures, biodiversity, functional ecology, and trait-based modeling.
