Patryk works as a doctoral researcher in the group "Event-based modeling of economic impacts of climate change" in the PIK's  Research Domain 3: Transformation Pathways

Patryk contributes to the RECEIPT project (REmote Climate Effects and their Impact on European sustainability, Policy and Trade) funded within the Horizon 2020 programme. His current research focuses on climate change implications for food markets and the stability dimension of the global food security. Patryk's analyses of shocks in the food system are based on a modified version of the Acclimate model.

Patryk has research experience in Computational Condensed Matter Physics (University of Hamburg 2016-2019), holds Master's degree in Theoretical Physics from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków (2016) and Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Warsaw (2014).
