My research focuses on the interactions between different compartments of the Earth system, with an emphasis on forest ecosystems. Using the process-based forest model 4C (FORESEE) I study the impact of climate change on forests and how we can manage them in order to make them more resilient and ensure their long-term ecosystem services.
