As adaptation is usually implemented through collaboration between a number of different actors attention to the nature of these engagements becomes a key part of the success of any adaptation initiative. The resources here offer ways to assess the success of the participatory aspects of the adaptation plans in including the level of inclusion of key actors at different stages of the process, how well information has been shared, and what participating in the process has contributed to the success of the work and to the individuals involved.
