Ottmar Edenhofer, Director of PIK and climate economist, gave an opening speech at the workshop. Two PIK FutureLabs jointly led by researchers from Potsdam and from the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC) are involved in the relevant scientific efforts: One ist the FutureLab on "Public Economics and Climate Finance" and the other is the FutureLab on "Networks of Interacting Agents". Also involved are PIK's Working Group "Data-based analysis of climate decisions" and the "Inter-Sectoral Impact Model Intercomparison Project".
