04/24/2008 - Which questions do natural and social scientist as well as economists try to answer in the context of climate change? Which instruments do they use? How are strategies for dealing with global warming being developed? How can the cost for climate protection be calculated? How effective is the trade with emission allowances and how could it be organized?
Answers to these and other questions around the issue of climate impact research could be gained on Girls‘ Day at PIK. Moreover, a strategy game about emissions trading was played, where the girls had to represent different world regions. Through playing it became salient to the pupils that climate change is not only an interesting research topic, but also raises important political questions.
