PISM2.0 released

After years of development, the second major release of the Parallel Ice Sheet Model (PISM) is out. PISM is developed at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and co-developed by members of the ice dynamics group at PIK and the workhorse in our simulations of the ice sheets. The release includes a new solver for the first order approximation of the Stokes equation, new physical components as well as bug fixes and runtime improvements.

Together with PISM 2.0 the new website (https://pism.io) and the twitter account (@PISM_model) were published.
