Currently, there are no funded positions available within the Climate Change and Health group. Open positions will be advertised on the PIK website. Below, we provide guidance for candidates seeking to pursue research with us through external funding sources and/or academic theses.
- Postdoc and PhD applicants
Candidates who are planning to apply for external scholarships or fellowships (e.g. DAAD, Humboldt Foundation, or other funding bodies) are invited to submit an unsolicited application. Our supervision capacity is very limited, but we may be able to support certain suitable candidates in preparing their funding applications.
To apply with the team, please consult the eligibility criteria and application procedure for PhD applicants. Only complete applications (application form, research project proposal and transcript of studies) submitted in line with our guidelines will be reviewed. Postdoc applicants should also use the PhD application form, as there is currently no separate form for postdoc applications. Relevant sections may be adjusted as needed to reflect your postdoctoral status.
- Dr. med. and Master’s thesis applicants
Students interested in writing a Dr. med. or Master’s thesis within our group are invited to consult the current list of available research topics, but can also suggest other suitable topics. Please note that our supervision capacity for Dr. med. and Master's theses is currently very limited and we can only rarely accept students.
