10/05/2017 - Specialists in the field of climate-change communications met in Potsdam to discuss communication and climate change.
Prof. Dr. Hermann Lotze-Campen, Co-Chair of RD2, gave a presentation on "Linking social science and natural science perspectives: challenges in communicating complex climate change impacts".
Dr. Connie Roser-Renouf, Associate Research Professor at the Center for Climate Change Communication, George Mason University, discussed the difficulties of climate-change communications in her presentation "Reaching Across the Ideological Divide: Communicating About the Environment".
In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Jürgen Kropp asked: "Are scientists really communicating science to the public?"
