The Workshop featured a number of plenary sessions by renowned scientists such as Noah Diffenbaugh, Tamma Carleton and Johan Rockström, as well as discussions on further improving currently available climate forcing data and ISIMIP3 socioeconomic forcing data. Moreover, numerous thematical and cross-sectoral discussions took place on around 20 topics ranging from providing data for impact models to identifying topics for cross-sectoral analysis to how to communicate climate impacts best to different audiences.
Many RD2-scientists were heavily involved in various sessions of the ISIMIP workshop and more specifically in the closely integrated Kick-Off meeting of the new COST Action PROCLIAS.
