Bearing the title “Risk and Opprtunity“ the World Banks World Development Report 2014 was presented at the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on 2 Dec 2013 by its lead author Dr. Norman Loayza. In the subsequent Panel discussion with scientists and policy makers from different fields, Dr. Michael Jakob (MCC) emphasized the importance of well-defined management of climate risks.
