From 22nd to 26th January, guests from the B-EPICC partner countries Brazil, Ethiopia, Peru, Tanzania and India came together at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research for the Final Events of the B-EPICC project.
Together with B-EPICC researchers and PIK scientists, they looked back on six years of collaborative work to reduce the gap between climate research and its application in policy and societal decision-making at national, regional and local levels in the project´s partner countries.
They compared the situations in the partner countries, presented their experience in climate services in water/hydrology, forests, agriculture and climate-linked migration and discussed possible joint research and capacity building initiatives beyond the B-EPICC project.
