Central File Services

Separate POSIX compliant network file systems are provided centrally for scientific users and administration in order to facilitate the exchange of information over the local area data network of the Institute [log-in required]

User Home File System

For each PIK IT user account a central user home directory is created which can be used in addition to the local storage space on personal computers and laptops.

File Services for Science

POSIX compliant HOME and PROJECT file systems are provided via the local data network of the institute - policies, capacity, access, backup and use cases are explained [log-in required].
