The aim of limiting global warming to two degrees above the pre-industrial age corresponds to, in the perspective of physics, a global budget of emissions for the next decades. This calls for fair burdensharing.
The CSC puts four questions in the center of it's conference: Which policies must be tackled? How can companies be transformed in order to reduce emissions? How expensive is the two-degrees-goal for business and society, and what is the cost of inaction? Why is it so hard for people to live environmentally conscious even though they know the consequences?
