PIK researchers Peter Hoffmann, Christoph Menz and Ylva Hauf presented the PIK project ClimateImpactsOnline, in the Great Refractor of the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP). This portal, in which digital technologies play an important role,  illustrates the possible impacts of climate change on various countries and world regions on sectors like agriculture, forest and biodiversity, tourism and health.

The Digital Ministers' Conference of the Federal States (DMK) on 19 April in Potsdam is the  first time that a specific conference of ministers for digital policy meet. The ministers used the evening before the conference to familiarise themselves with Potsdam as a location for science and innovation, for which PIK is of central importance.
