The teacher training course “Autumn School System Earth” is organized on a yearly basis by German Meteorological Society in cooperation with the German GeoForschungsZentrum (GFZ). It invites teachers, students and other civil society members. The 2019 autumn school took place on November 4-5 at the GeoForschungsZentrum in Potsdam and was titled as "Asia - a dynamic continent". In the view of the topic, EPICC researcher Elena Surovyatkina was invited to present the results of Monsoon research in a video-lecture titled “When does the Indian Summer Monsoon Begin?” The input was developed in cooperation with EPICC guest researcher Roman Medvedev and help of EPICC Migration Output researcher Jonas Bergmann.
