NAME
          writecountrycode - Write country code file

     SYNOPSIS
          #include "lpj.h"

          int writecountrycode(Outputfile *output,
                               int index,
                               const Cell grid[],
                               const Config *config
                              );


     DESCRIPTION
          Function writes country code data for LPJmL grid. Only cell
          coordinates with valid soil code are written.  The arguments
          of writecountrycode are:

          output
               Pointer to initialized output data. output must be
               initialized by fopenoutput().

          index
               Set index of output.

          grid Cell grid array allocated and initialized by newgrid().

          config
               LPJmL configuration data. Must be read by readconfig().

     RETURN VALUE
          Upon successful completion the number of country codes
          written is returned.
